Hammerhead or high pressure reeflo?
Please have a look at following drawing with measurements on it.
This will be made wioth 1.5"PVC pipes until very last corner on top of tank when it will go into 1" tube. The tank would be 120 x 39 x 36 500gallon DT There will also be a closed loop installed connected to Barracuda. So the question now is? Should I use Reeflo Hammerhead? Enough flow all the way to the last outlet? Reeflo 1HP or Tiger Shark? Overkill as for the low total Head? please advise Need to place the order today or tomorrow the last would like some opinions before I do. Please |

I added a poll so no typing required
need some advise here guys. I live in Thailand so dont want to spend a few hundred dollars on the wrong piece of equipment. Some more info on the tank maybe? It will be a straight forward tank with above measurements and will have 2 separate drains of 2" each. It will be stocked with mainly soft corals and anemones and some SPS maybe but mainly soft oriented. One drain will lead to a 160Gallon refugium and the other will drain into a 100Gallon sump with 2 skimmers and a Scrubber attached to it. The refugium will eventually also drain into that sump. The closed loop will enter from the bottom side of the tank from 4 outlets driven by a Reeflo Barracuda and going through a OM 4 way. Please guys need all the help or advise I can get |

looks like Hammerhead is the way to go.
So all of you think high pressure is overkill? |
