Move Massive toadstool Leather
Hi All, I have a Leather that is about 24" diameter. It's getting too big for my 280. I plan to frag it and then give the main portion to my local LFS. A month or so after I frag it, can I just cut it at the foot close to the rock it's attached to?

Is it possible to just take out the whole toadstool with the rock? I have a toadstool thats about 14"s, and I would be afraid to detach the foot from the rock in fear of hurting it. Luckily for me, its attached to a small rock.

I don't want to kill it for sure but most of the time a good 1/3 is stuck up against the glass and not open. The funny thing about this, is it has out grown the mother it came from by about twice the size. When I got it from my lfs, it was no more than about 3" in diameter. It's only 2.5 years old and just exploded in growth over the last year. |
