Led question
Just got back from a big reef show and I am setting up a new tank I want to know what the pros and cons of some of these lighting fixtures.
I'm think of going with Acan lighting 600 series Or Ecoxotic Or ai Or Diy I know the prices are high on some but I want to know other pros and cons

Not familiar with the others, but I have had AI sol's for 3 months now...8 of them on a 375 sps. I had read after finding this site that some folks were not really happy with their SOL's, but I have had great success with them in just a month with new frags that are growing like crazy. Might have something to do with my high water turnover as well, but I'm really happy with SOL's.

What size tank? I have seen the Acans and they are nice but pricey, I no a lot off people use the AI's with good results. I though about getting them but decided on ordering Ecotechs instead.

I'm not so much worried about the price I'm more concerned about getting the best product.
The can lighting looked really cool but any one have any experience with them?

AI Sol Blue...I have them on my 34g solana. Awesome look and they can grow corals. If you have any major questions call AI and ask for Justin. He is great, and full of info for these lights.

I love my ai sol's. I wouldn't go with Ecoxotic, in my personal experience and travels to local fish stores around my house, I've seen tons of their modules with bad leds. Probably 20 plus.

Eh, I have an Ecoxotic panorama. Up and running since Feb. Looks fine, runs fine, I like it. Only wish with mine is it was bluer.

I like the DIY route. A lot have complained about color (and most fixture are getting better), but with BIY you can tweak the color. And it tends to be cheaper.
