Thank you very much. It was floating around for 1 hour today. Sometimes facing down. Is that normal? Thank you.

Normal in that it's trying to find a happy spot.

Be sure powerheads are covered so it doesn't become mincemeat.

I'd be concerned about having enough light though.

I am hoping that you left off a "0" on your salinity -- it should be at 1.025. How are you measuring it?

Your phosphates are actually high, are you using RO/DI water, and if so, what is the TDS of it.

Turn off your powerheads -- and before you turn them back on, make sure that you have covers for them.

Where did you get the anemone from? What lights was it under?

Also, please answer my questions from above.

Thank you. I get my water from the Fish store. The water is supposed to be RO. The salinity is 1.025 and I use the Coralife Hydrometer. My Lights is Odyssea T5 4x24W.

It's a brand new tank and a NEM is the first thing you are putting in it?

Has the tank even cycled yet?

As hard is it may seem to do, the best thing now is to keep water parameters best you can and just let the little guy run around until he ahs found a home. My nem wandered for about a week floating around everywhere but now has perched himself nicely right in the front where i originally wanted him ( i got lucky). About the only thing i would do is flip him over if he lands on the sandface down. Don't worry about tank age as long as everything is consistant in there. Lights should be sufficent but the additional will make the little guy prosper. GL and keep us posted!

Thank you. The water is tested every morning with the reef master and master test kit. The nem is fully open but time to time is facing down on the sand bed.

For a cheap powerhead cover, use pantyhose. Cut the toe end off, rubberband it to the PH.

I'd try to place the foot in between two rocks; they seem to like the foot covered.
