Question introduction of chlorine through rinsing machinery

Just a thread to discuss washing/rinsing machinery and returning it to your aquarium.

I personally have started thoroughly drying everything I wash/rinse off to avoid unintentionally adding unwanted chlorine water to my system.

Is this a useful measure or just OCD?

Your thoughts please.

Are you just referring to the little bit of tapwater leftover from the rinse? Just, I would say that is just OCD. Unless you are washing in pure chlorine (kidding, I know you aren't), there is nothing to stress about.

In a nano-tank, maybe it would be a valid concern. In a normal tank or bigger, shouldn't be noticeable.
