E.T.S downdraft skimmer
I just picked up one of these a month ago and I love this thing. I practically stole it from the guy($170 with Iwaki 70 rlt) The only thing I can not figure out is how to stop air from geting into this thing. I have removed the air valves and plugged them and I still get lots of air. I love they way it is working, but I would like to be the one controling the air, maybe I can get it to skim better?

You need the air valves to create the distrubance. There is a thread in this forum called "ETSS Skimmer Club" It helped me out alot!!!!
