Looking for large amount of base dry rock.

Sorry, go easy on me I am new here, so not sure if this is the right forum to post it.

But, I recently been put in charge a new commericial 'saltwater' project in Canada, and the plan is calling for around 40,000 pounds of base dry rock.

My big questions from the experts here is what 'price range', I am looking for to get an large amount like this, and does that include my company covering the shipping or does the place I am exporting it from include that in the price.

I just want to get an idea of what I should be paying, without getting rip off by the exporters.

I already done a ton of research and know about all the 'legal' paperwork and other stuff needed to complete the transaction.

Also if the forum experts here know of 'proper' places I should be dealing with that would be most helpful also.

Or any pointers I might be missing being a 'newbie' in the field.

Many thanks in advance for your help and answers.

I hope I don't go too crazy over this after 'jumping into the frying pan' on this project.

I'd think you might start with someone like BRS ...40,000 is a lot, truckload or more I'm thinking.... heck at that amount you might consider buying a quarry in Florida a minning your own...ha!

At that amount you might also look into making your own. Check the DIY forum, there are lots of ways to do it. Mostly with concrete. At least for the parts that no one will be seeing.
