Issues with some coral...but not all
I'm having an issue with some of my corals in my tank but not all of them.
Softies - All are good LPS - Frogspawn, hammer, chalice, torch, favia, trachophyllia, blastos are all doing good. SPS - One stag and one Acro doign awesome, one mille ...ok, other acros doign terrible and montis only last several weeks. This is on a 190 gallon tank with a closed loop. Lighting is 4 AI SOL Blue's but was only recently hanged over, prior to that I was running two 250W metal halides and had the same issues. Parameters are as follows: Calcium 400 (a little low but not terrible) Alk 8.8 (would like it high but again, not terible) Magnesium 1400 PH 7.9-8.0 Phosphates .5 (not so sure I trust the test on this because it's tested high on every tank I've checked) Nitates 20 salinity 1.026 temp 79.5
