Talking Post your LED specs and pictures!

Hey everyone, narrowing down the LED build and now im at the part were i want to consider different mixtures of LED's or how many blues to add, i like the blue look but not intense so that case...i want to see wat 1 12k, 14k, 20k tank looks like

POST YOUR TANK PICS, RATIO OF LEDS, AND WHAT LEDS( NW, RB, CW, B ects..)

I run 50/50 mix of whites and royal blues, run the whites at 85% and have between a 14k & 20k look.works well for me and growth is great. Ill try to get a pic for ya in a bit.

wow mark and salty beautiful tanks, i also want a 14k or maybe 20k look, i like it blue but not to much

a 1:1 give you a 10-12k and 2:1 give you a 12-15k....im not sure which to do

Wow your tank is amazing!

I am just now setting up a 65 gallon SPS dom tank.

I am still working on the build and everything and am going with LEDs. Mine is currently being built with a good mix of green red blue cool and warm white led's added to it to help make the corals pop. I hope on my tank it will stand a chance of looking as nice as yours.

Best advice would be to go to a fish store to see the lights in person. Seeing that you are in Miami I would imagine there is a plethora of reef stores in the area.

You lose a lot when looking at photos unless they pictures are touched up properly.

yes, I agree. happysacks photos do not do that tank justice. Not trying to trash your photography skills, but there's no way a camara can pick up what the eyes see when standing next to this tank! it looks Waaay better in person.
