Need Refugium Plumbing Advice
Need some expert advice please. Starting my new 180G fish room build. I want to have a large refugium - somewhere around 60 gallons. This will be separate from my sump which is about 30 gallons. Need connection advice on how to integrate this separate refugium into the plumbing scheme. I am looking for the most fail safe connection method.
Setup is tank up high with sump below. Refuge is off to the right/ behind the tank. I have two return pumps (for redundancy) planned with two overflow boxes from the tank. I could potentially feed one into each (sump / refuge) but really want the mechanical filtration of my socks to be first - and of course the redundancy of the two pumps. thoughts? thanks in advance |
