Skimmer going nuts

I added 6 frags yesterday and had to epoxy them to stay on the rocks... i turned on my skimmer and came back to its going nuts. Making tuns of basically water skimmate and just overflowing. Is this normal? Will it calm down if i just keep running it? Thanks for the help

Some of the epoxies or instant glues will cause this. I'd dial the skimmer back so it's not making super wet skimmate. Then in 12-24 hrs try dialing it back up. Do this untill you get it back where you want it (it may take 2-4 adjustments).

+1 every time I've done this my skimmer goes crazy too. Like Ron said, just dial it back (mine I have to open up all the way) and you should be good in 24 hrs or so.
