Cleaning old refugium

It's got water deposits and dried fan worms. I apologize for this silly question but before I start scrubbing it, is dried up fan worm good for anything?

use vinegar and a plastic putty knife. rinse well when done, and use.

The dried fan worm won't regenerate or anything. I'd clean them all out.

I'd do water/vinegar 1:1 and just plug the powerhead in.

The dried fan worm will disintegrate, not good for anything.
