Best fish and best places to buy fish.
Hi,
I was looking for some snails and crabs for my tank as well as some hearty fish to start the tank with. I know that damsels are recommended although they are very aggressive. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? Also, what are the best placesto buy fish? I try to stray away from the"pet store chains"(i.e. Petco or Pet Supermarket.) Any other ideas? I'm not sure if purchasing online is really "safe" in perspective of having a healthy fish. P.S. Orlando/Tampa, FL area. If you are from here, give me a good LFS to hit up |

We need a little bit more info..... What kind of fish are you looking for? Agressive fish? are you planning on adding corals to your system? what size tank do you have? How old is the tank?
....... And liveaquaria is a very very good site to get fish and corals .

I would have to second liveaquaria. I've always had a good experience with them.

I have a 75 Gallon tank. Not planning on adding corals until August after I move. The tank is just starting up. I don't even have water in it, I just want to get an idea of what kind of fish I need. I am looking for fish that will do good in a new aquarium that will also get along well with corals and other fish that I add later.
