Skimmer pump suggestions please
Pump suggestions please
I currently have a Nac 7 cone Bubble Magus skimmer on my 70 gallon cube. The skimmer does really well and pulls a good amount of gunk. The issue that I'm having with the skimmer is the hum from the pump. I would love to swap out the pump for a quieter model if possible. The skimmer has the factory pump (Atman 2500) which sits inside of the body of the skimmer. The pump is held into place by a rail system with in the intake going through the body. Has any one swapped out pumps on one of these skimmers? Is there a better aftermarket pump that will fit inside of the body. Something like a bubble blaster. I'm just looking to have a silent tank, and the hum is driving me insane. |
