Restarting... Bigger and better for the new year

Hello to all. I decided to make this post understanding that all my questions most likely can be found by searchin the internet for a few hrs but I figure hey, thats what a forum is for.

i think it would benefit me to have the individualized attention.

Technically I am not new to reef keeping although I will say that I have seen the light and through a few trial and error tanks that never really established I am ready to take on my 125 the right way. Here we go...

First question. In my journey ive piled up a nice amount of rock. base rock previously live rock and a few skeletons of the corals ive failed to keep alive. I decided to start completly fresh and dry and cure everything to reseed it later. Can someone lay out a gameplan for me here in reguards to this?

Secondly, I believe a major problem in my tanks Is that I never cycled my tanks, just kinda threw it all together. After the rock is cured and the tank is filled, what is the best way to do this?

Now please understand that I have all the necessary equipment and a few years experience into this hobby. I just want to completly dumb it down for myslef to make sure I get it right this time. Thanks for the help rc

I also recommend checking out that little blog link under Sk8rs profile pic. Some serious info, should keep you busy for an afternoon lol. She/he? (sry sk8r) has put a lot of work in on those blogs!

Yea just by reading that first page I can see how well thought out and articulate his posts are. Bookmarked it on my phone for reading on the go

cabt wait. Probably gonna go get my rodi unit today (lack of which is another reason for my previous failures)

Yeah that's the only problem with this hobby. If you wanna do it right, you're going to have to invest in some serious equipment.

She's a fountain of fantastic information. __________________ 90 gallon mixed reef XPS1000SSS skimmer, 2 radions gen 1, tunze osmolator w/ kalk dispenser, 70 lbs pukani, mp40w x2; 1 tomini, 1 clown 2 mandarins. Vinegar dosing, and micro bubble scrubbing.
