Ati sunpower success stories.

Hello reefcentral
I was just reading on this forum and seen they made an ai sol success story thread.

Question I'm having does everybody have good luck with these fixtures
Everything has a story behind it and I would like to know yours.
Im debating on what lighting I should use I want sols but I'm afraid I could bleach my corals and that's something I don't want.
If possible can I have before and after pictures of growth.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would like input so let's help each other out. I'd like to know what size fixture and whats the wattage your running your ati's at also what size tank you have

Thanks .

I will post some pics I have. They aren't the greatest quality though.

Look on the left side of the tank and you will see a green birdsnest and orange plating monti. You can see how much those grew in the 6 months between pictures.

I miss my ATI Sunpower! I just wish ATI would pull their heads out and make some 18" fixtures and bulbs! I would gladly give up my LEDs for an 18" ATI T5 fixture.

Think I could pull of a 36 inch ati sunpower fixture 6 bulb on a 75 g?
Or even a 4 bulb and be able to grow stuff even on the sand bed?

A 4 bulb, no way. If you are going with a shorter fixture get the 6 bulb.

This thread is relevant to my interests. I'm also debating the sol over t5, and am heavily leaning toward the sunpower 4x54 over a 72 bow front. I have every intention of keeping a mixed reef with colorful Lps and sps.
