cavitating retufn pump solutions plz
Hi my quiet one return sends out micro bubbles not as bad as a skimmer might, but its annoying. I' m wondering if running the return line through a media reactor would solve this. I predict a loss of flow by doing this. But I can always add another hydor in the tank if I need more flow.

How is the pump setup...internal or external?
Are you sure the bubbles are not coming from the pipe itself drawing in air. One miniscule pin hole in the line or a PVC joint will draw air in.

I'm 100% sure its cavitating, its submerged about 10" one staight hose to the tank, the skimmer is 3 sumps back and I placed floss all around the pump to see if somehow micro bubbles made it to the pump and back to the tank. After that I still have some micro bubbles.
