Question Flow rates?

I have a 90 gallon tank that I would eventually like to do SPS/LPS corals in. How much flow should I expect to need in the tank?

Thanks, Charlie

Depending on what kind of powerheads you are using (i.e. how the flow is delivered) plan on between 50 and 100x the tank volume per hour.

So it would be acceptable to run about 5000 gph through the system?

Yeah, without question. Now, that is IN TANK flow, not flow through the sump. You only need about 500gph through your sump.
