Newbie question - flow

29g Biocube hqi. Planning on doing a reef tank. Do I need an additional flow pump and how many strong? 29g tank. Also best place to place it? I have seen a lot of people put them on the opposite side of the tank butbthatbwould be right in front of the skimmer holes. And how many in a CUC is recommended? And how many of each. Thx

Flow depends on what you want to keep. Reef tank is a pretty broad spectrum...SPS require high flow, LPS and softies get by with medium flow. On that size tank I'd recommend at least one powerhead. Probably a Koralia Evo 550.

As far as clean up crew goes, diversity is best. A couple of hermits, 5 or so large nassarius or 10 of the small ones, a few ceriths and I recommend trochus snails over margarita or nerites. Much hardier snail than the other two.
