Arrow Enough flow for 20g H?

I'm curious to see if I have enough, or too much rather, flow for my tank... I've read basic rules of thumb and done my research, but I've gotten a few opinions from some people and I'm just curious to see what I should do... I currently have a powerhead, rated at 170 GPH, a maxi-jet 400- using circulation pump rated up to 500 GPH and my filter that is rated at 125 GPH... I was told that I could get rid of the powerhead and just get a maxi-jet 900 and stick it in the corner pointed straight up and it would be enough flow for my tank... I'm just curious because I want to keep SPS down the line... but I like the idea of a less crowded tank...

You can see the placement of the powerhead and maxi-jet in the picture... sorry for the bad quality- phone picture..
