protein skimmer placement in sump
I'm planning a 29 gal sump for my 90 gal DT. Can I put my skimmer in the same compartment as where my drain from Dt flows in? I'm using a herbie style drain flow. Will all the bubbles from the water flow hinder my skimmer from working? Thanks.

1) With the Herbie drain, a siphon and dry emergency, there will be no bubbles entering the sump, from the drain.
2) The skimmer compartment is where the drain should go. No sense in making another compartment just for the drain.
