NYC joes nano office tank
Hi all. Have a 6 gal fluval edge tank. Converted to SW. Had it running for a while at home and brought it to work with me.
Got some nanocustoms LEDs for it and got addicted. Heres my tank in all it's little glory. Thanx -Joe Last edited by Nyc Joe; 01/25/2012 at 11:07 PM. |

My lil nemo.
He hosts a Duncan. This is what it started as. Had a bangaii cardinal that didn't get along with anyone. So I used this as a jail. Thanx -Joe |

Some shots of the LEDs. Very very well made. Best gift ever. Found out that nanocustoms went under.
Pretty sad. Thanx -Joe |

Awesome! Is that a custom made LED fixture or was it made specifically for the Edge tanks? It fits perfect. How often do you have to top off?

The nanocustoms Led is made specifically for the edge.
it goes on the lip. fit is great. I top off twice a week. usually Monday and thurs. but i have a gal of water under my desk. really easy since im right next to it. usually do it right before feeding. Thanx everyone! |

I have the same tank, also in my office at work. Same little circulation pump, mounted in almost the same place. Same heater, all I am missing is that awesome light. I keep checking these edge builds to see what people are using for light, looks like I missed the boat on the nanocustoms unit. Bummer.

Floowid-
If you google- edge led savior You may find another light. Still great quality. Its a good bright led light. Also I kinda hate the powerhead. Makes noise intermittently. Want to get a korallia nano. Thanx -Joe |

Yeah I noticed the noise. Unplug it and plug it back in until its quiet. I want a better powerhead too, but I don't want anything bigger. Ill check out that light, thanks for the suggestion.

Yea I thought the power head would be quiet. Ehh.
Gonna move over to the koralia nano. Think that will fit good. Maybe even hide it so it's not so obvious. Want to do a mp10. But the price is slowing me down! Thanx -Joe |

NYC joes nano office tank
Wow. 5 yrs later.
Back from the dead. Tank died due to a heater frying everything. Light is for sale. Had a great run. One of my favorite tanks. On to an Elos mini at home. Downgrading from my 60 cube in the for sale section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
