Dosing A & B
I have an LPS dominated 210 reef tank and I wanted to try dosing Kent Marine A &B. How often should it be done ? The directions say daily but that seems excessive to me. Appreciate any advise. Thanks.

You should measure the amount of calcium and alkalinity that your tank consumes daily and that will tell you how much you need to dose. The actual dosage needed will vary over a huge range from tank to tank depending on what you have living in there.
The easiest way is to get your parameters right and then watch the alkalinity fall for a couple of days. That will tell you the consumption rate. Then look in the chemistry forum, there is a calculator that will help you turn that number into a daily dose. Dosing without testing is a recipe for disaster.

FWIW, my tank and many others get two part doses hourly.

Plus 1^^^. It took me about 2 weeks to get it right. Test twice a day (first thing in the am if possible) and like 12 hours later worked for me. I really got a feel for accurate testing and level fluctuation by doing this. A PITA yes! But invaluable knowledge was gained in that time frame. Watch your alk mainly. Calcium is a breeze, alkalinity is a little tricky though. Good luck

Btw... Brs (randy's 2 part) and b-ionic are my preferences. And get dosers, 1.1's are great
