Hydroid dangers?

I have tons of the tiny, snowflake shapped hydroids in my 20 gallon display refugium.they may be at most, 1mm in diameter. I have yet to see one single hydroid in my 75 gallon main display for some reason. My only guess is maybe my dragonett is eating them. Are there any know dangers to this type of hyroid? do they have stinging power? or are they a harmless grazer/filter filter or what?

Beneficial filter feeders to my knowledge. They seem to prefer darker, lower flow areas.
