Just checking on a Coral
![]() (sorry for the bad pic) The coral appears to be doing great but it looks a little more pale then when I got it. The only major change it went through is that my tank has a more powerful light system then where it came from(PC to T5). I don't relay think there is something wrong with it but the slight color loss makes me feel ok asking just in case something is starting. Thanks in advance for any help! |

Well it could be from the light, but looking at your rocks, I think you have some other issues going on. What is your maintenance schedule like, and what are your water parameters? SG, PH, cal, alk?

If it is in stronger light I would move it a little lower and see if that helps. Looks like a nice little Frogspawn and maybe put it in medium current.

The rocks look like they do due to a recent battle with hair algae so the stuff on the rocks are mostly detritus that was mixed up during the cleaning. And for the parameters
Temp: 81 SG: 1.022(Down trying to get clowns to mate) Ph: 8.1 As for the Alk and Cal I really need to get a new test but last time it was tested Cal: 430ppm Alk: 160ppm Now with the moving it down, would it get used to the light up there or is it too much for the frogspawn, it is a 216w t5 system and the coral about a foot from the light |
