Help needed...setting up a 120

I am setting up a 120. 4x2x2 it has 2 1inch drains and 2 3/4 returns...what is a good size retrun pump? Should I do 1 or 2? I was thinking of doing 2 and having around 500-600 gph on each return at about 4 feet of head pressure...do you guys think that is too much or too little? I want the tank to have lots of flow because it will be sps dominant and i will have 2 mp60s on it as well. Thanks in advance.

I would say 500-600 gph is fine ....my one suggestion is to use 1"piping all the way around and use ball valves to adjust accordingly

as for pumps...mag 7's will get it done, although their are quieter pumps out there

DON'T buy two pumps when its NOT needed. just get one big one and save the money. besides your pg&e bill will go up running a extra return pump. get a return pump thats rated 3-5 times your display tank. you cant go wrong with mag drives. i run a mag 9.5 on my 90g system and i have it powering 2 reactors (carbon & bio pellets) with about 6-7 ft. of head loss and my turn over rate is perfect!

check out this web site's chart to compare mag drives. this should help you out.
