help me figure out this problem

New eshopps overflow box . 1200 gph rating . Return pump is a aquabee rated at 1200 gph as well

With my old diy pvc overflow pipe i had no bubbles in my drain. Now with a proper overflow box, im having bubbles galore. So much so that its preventing my skimmer from working properly.

Here is a.few pics

My skimmate is always dark and has to be emptied twice a week. I havebt emptied this cup in almost 2 weeks

Thoughts?

At work so I cannot see any pics...

If possible, try some filter material before the return pump. Not sure if you have a sump or the design of it.
