Angry H.O.T Magnum

Hey everyone, I have been using the H.O.T Magnum filter for just over three months and have started getting some problems with it. The main one being that there is almost no flow coming from the return head and after about 30 seconds it starts to make an awful grinding type noise? If anyone can help remedy these problems I would greatly appreciate it!!

have you pulled it apart and given it a good cleaning? I have one that is like 10 years old. runs like new.

Yes I broke the whole thing down and scrubbed it completely! I have been using the micron polisher because my dog got ahold of the carbon filter and chewed it to bits! So I know that is going to have to be replaced asap, but I have no idea what it could be! What really disapoints me is that its only been up and running for 3 months!

i'm not shure but i think the micron poliser is only meant for shot term use and it will clog quickly, this could be the cause of your problem
