Esshops S 150 help

is this what it should look like?
its in 8 " of water and turned down all the way, cup is filling with water, not a good skimmate, what can i do?

i got it used and dont know how to tune it, and cant find a website for you guys, or any info.

its a s150

I have the same skimmer and water level is a big key. You can mess around with its height by adding milk crate. But the skimmer needs to break in as well which is most likely your problem. Try setting it really low so the bubbles dont even come up to the bottom of the cup and just walk away. Come back in an hour and the bubbles will have started working their way up in a way that when they overflow, they dont add all the water causing your cup to fill.
