Really, I though after 5 I would stop I've had up to 20 before I cut down, water changes just became a pain, and that's nothing, a really close friend has upwards of 60, and still buying, now he has a problem.

120G w/40G sump FW
125G FW
75G w/40G sump/refugium SW
65G FW

I live in a 2BR 2nd floor apartment (w/ 1/2 million in renter's insurance).

I also have a 40G long, 40G breeder, 29G, 10G, 240G, and a 230G in storage. We have an offer in on a house with a nice basement where all of this will be set up soon hopefully.

Dude! If I counted correctly that's over One Thousand gallons spread across 11 tanks! If I tried that my wife would offer me two options:

1) Uncontested Divorce.
-or-
2) Justifiable Homicide!

Just joking of course..... I would hate to have your electric bill.

Man, you got that right. My wife loves snorkeling and enjoys our 2 tanks on one stand set up (and I have a 20g QT in the garage). But in order to get a 55g full time local tank/QT set up in a spare room, I had to tile 2 bedrooms. The last of the carpet is now gone, we have a real Florida house and I'm setting up a 55g tank in what was a 'spare' bedroom and is now my 'man cave'. BTW, we both hate the term 'man cave' but haven't come up with anything better.

Haven't gotten the two big ones set up yet (230G and 240G), but once I do I'm sure the power bill will sky rocket. My girlfriend has forbidden me to buy any more tanks until we close on our house. But this weekend someone gave me three tanks for free, so they are sitting in the floor of the living room now along with an FX5 and a tote full of crushed coral that I took out of the 75G when I converted it to salt in January.
