Anemone? ID
Found this strange looking thing on my ....sigh.... dead aussie elegance coral.... was looking to get an ID on it.

Ball anemone. Probaby some species of corynactis. Was the anemone found in a fairly dark place?

My clownfish were trying to host in the elegance coral and the coral didn't respond well so i put it down stairs in my refugium for the 120 under some LED's i think the anemone was stinging the coral repeatedly which in turn just ended up in the coral dieing. but it was underneath the fleshy part of the elegance coral.
