Question What would make Copepods die?

This week I have seen so far four floating in the tank. The only thing different i have done is start adding two tsp kalkwasser to 4.5 gallons of topoff which is added via float switches and doser. The tank is 7 months new and I moved it 2 miles down the road to a new house. Could they be starving or overpopulated?

Molts float, dead ones just lay on the bottom.
