Gotta Pass Along Kudos!

I am in the planning stages for a build of my own but have been a lurker and member of RC for a long time.

First I would like to thank RC staff and admin for running a first class site/forum.

I would also like to acknowledge the wealth of experienced and knowledgeable members that frequent this forum.

As a newbie, I SO appreciate the helpful spirit that seems common among the veterans of this hobby.

Oddly, at one time I considered a Discus tank as opposed to reef. While they can be a challenging species to keep it was the attitude of many (not all) Discus keepers that made me settle on reef after all.

They seemed to think that my lack of knowledge and experience made me no better than gum on the bottom of their shoe.

Reef Central has such a positive, inviting and helpful vibe. It truly is a fantastic site.

Whether you are RC staff, an "old salt" or a newbie like me "Thank You" for your helpful advice and kudos to you all.

I would have to highly agree. When I first decided that I wanted to be apart of this hobby I searched many forums. While a few of them were good, I liked this one above all others, especially the, ..Intended fish purchases thread, from Sk8r and Steve (I hope I got that right).

Beginning new to this hobby, there is such a wealth of knowledge it can be hard to decipher it all. Having a place to go and get solid answers makes this hobby that much more enjoyable.

Thanks Everyone!
