I'd be interested in knowing how user friendly it is, I'm thinking of getting the same controller but am a little apprehensive due to not being all the computer savee.

Any controllers have a droid app? I notice many have iPhone support.

yes the RA does have a droid app.
on that note I just found out you have to have a iphone 3GS or newer for the app to work on your device. a read bummer b/c I have 2 3G around the house from a phone down grade to save $$...

Which RA did you get and do you need to get anything added to it to control the (diy) LEDs

It control leads stock and come with 2 pwm ports. I've mine for about 3 weeks now and I'm really pleased with the controller, is easy to set up and make it do whatever you want, it took me about 2 hours to figure it out and modify the coding, but that was my fault because I had old programs with new ones and this was the problem.

When you star using it, download and install everything from the page, and delete all the old thing you've install.

I would see if you could get at the guy who makes the app for the Iphone and see if you can get a version to work with your Iphone 2. For some reason when I was searching around the Reef Angel forum, I could swear I thought I saw something about a different version for a older model Iphone but I wouldn't hold me to that.

If you don't mind me asking how much did that whole setup cost you, and which model did you get?
