I've used it for the last six months. A very high quality product with consistant results. Probably the biggest selling point for me is the top notch customer support from ESV. They will go as in depth as needed to answer a question, and help you understand your tank parameters. The last time I ordered a 50 lb package from MD it was only $9.99 for shipping.

been using ESV for over a year...no problems, 1000g+ in 3 systems, change over 200g a month (a 200g box actually makes 200g!)... won't ever go back to IO, RC or Oceanic, no comparison!

I just recently started using this salt because I was unhappy with having to constantly roll my buckets and shake them up just to TRY and get a consistent batch of fresh saltwater each time a did a water change (each water change was 15gal). I liked the claimed parameters and consistent mixing. It has been just that, each time I mix it up, I get 9.2-9.4dkh, 475 Ca, and 1380 Mg. I have also experienced absolutely NO residue left behind in my brute container.
I needed a very consistent salt because I was about to embark on an agressive water change program and needed a high quality salt. Thus far ESV has met my needs.

Its great salt but IME a PITA... If it was cheaper and I wasn't so pressed for time then I would probably use it.
For now I use 200g boxes of IO (4x 50g bags). Dump the whole bag at a time. It takes me about 20 seconds to mix 100g of water.

We've been using it for a year and love it. Takes no longer to mix (use a digital kitchen scale & do it by weight) than counting scoops of salt from a bucket, plus we don't have to dose anything and it mixes faster.
