Help! How much Calcium reactor do I really need?

Going to run a 180 gallon SPS tank and about a 40 gallon frag tank. I'll have a huge kalkwasser reactor running but I want to add a calcium reactor too. I'm probably going to get a GEO 624 but I'm confused about the specs. A GEO 618 claims to be rated for SPS tanks up to 175 gallons. The GEO 624 claims SPS 200-400 gallons. A Korallin C3002 holds the same amount of media as the GEO 618 but is rated for an 800 gallon tank.

Can I get away with a GEO 618 if I have a kalkstirrer thats rated for 800 gallons on the tank also? Or should I just go for the GEO 624? I will probably never upgrade the tank past this size

Why would you want to run both? Id get the 624 and get rid of the kalk.

MRC CR6 dual reactor on my 240 reef...
It uses course media which allows for lots or use later... and I haven't messed with it in over a year! Set and forgot!! Love it.

Just remember, a CA reactor is used to maintain levels. Never use a reactor to "add"

Also note, that a CA reactor is used for Alk. Set your Alk and the calcium is a by product...
Ice you have that handled, its all good!

Yeah, I have a calcium and kalk reactor on my tank currently. They are both DIY and require more time/attention when opening and closing to ensure a good seal. I'm going to start a surgical residency and I'm trying to reduce my time needed for maintenance. So its not that I'm unfamiliar with either devices, just trying to get some input as to whats best. Figured I'd run both to maintain pH and I guess because I have ran both for a while. Maybe it would be best to get rid of the kalk
