Any exp with maxijet return pumps???
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...9&pcatid=18989
thinking about going with one of these guys price is a little more than a magdrive but cheaper than a ehiem with the lowest wattage of them both i also like the built in controlled dial that will allow me to get an ovesized pump to run extra reactors off of it and tune it perfect for my overflow in the frag tank

Only short term, seems like decent quality - better than mag for certain.
It's made by Eden, also made for Eheim Compacts & the Tunze return pumps.

Just put in the 1800 model last night to replace my eheim 1260. The eheim's flow was too much for my tank. So far so good. Quiet, low power consumption, ~33w right now.

I have MaxiJest1800 as my return for 6 months. It's quiet and working great.

I've had a few different models.... The 5500 and 3000, and I believe the 1800.
Good pumps. Much less noise than a Mag Drive. More efficient than the Eheims and Mag Drives as well.

I've had the 1800 on my 60 cube for +2 years now. Only cleaned it once. It is flawless and silent.
Picking up a 150 tonight and will probably get the 4500 for it.
