Diamond goby clouding tank
I just got a diamond goby and he is stirring up the sand in the tank and making it cloudy...I like him. But don't like looking at cloudy water...any suggestions?

Remove the fish, it's just what they do.

After about a week, the cloudiness will go away.....but then he will pour sand over all your corals and you will have to blow them off daily. My old one exposed my high nitrate prolem by stirring up my cc....I soon replaced it with sand. Not to be a Debbie downer, but after a few months, he will probably die due to starvation.....they exhaust the sand bed pretty fast unless you have a tank that is a few years old. I lost mine about a week ago because of that.
Awesome animals, but hard to keep IMO. |
