Risk of bubble algae?
I would like to buy a fish from lfs but tank has bubble algae. Is there any sig risk of contaminating my tank by buying a fish from a tank w bubble algae?

No problem. You don't want to get any of that water from the LFS in your DT/QT anyway. Buying a coral that has a few bubbles on it is a different story.

It'll only 'bloom' on you if your tank has a nutrient situation it loves. It's a temporary condition in most tanks---goes like crazy for a while, then goes away and you don't see it for months. Caulerpa is something to worry about---but a little bubble, a little cyano, no big problem.

I'll take a blade and remove the bubble algae in a seperate container. Just make sure you go way beneath the algae without popping it.
