Drain Idea/Quesion

Hi, I was wondering if anybody have this similar setup. I've bought a tank that only came with two 1.5" drilled. What's the best and quiet way to plumb this? Some help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would use the Herbie Method. One pipe is a full siphon and the other ideally has just a tiny bit of flow. Google Herbie Method for a better explanation.

Correction, the two hole drill on the tank are measured at 2.5" and the bulkhead size that I'll be using are 2". I've been reading the herbie method but it only seems like the herbie method are only good for tank drill on the bottom and not on the side.

You can do it from the back as well. You may have to angle the full siphon elbow to get full siphon faster. Do you have enough room for elbows(1 down and 1 up) inside the overflow?

Do you have an overflow box built around the holes now or are there just two holes in the back of the tank? If it is just two holes how high are they?

Sorry photobucket is blocked at work so I didnt even see the above pictures till I got home. As long as you could fit an elbow in the box a herbie would still probably be your best bet.

How about a full top shot of the tank?
