Question about puffers and lions

I am about to get a Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish and Blue Spot Toby Pufferfish, my question is I know that they will kill hermits but will they be a problem for Turbo Snails? 2ndly, what recommendations do you guys have for keeping the sand clean without the hermits? Lastly, I know that Green Spot Puffers are naturally salt water fish as adults and would like to add one or two to the tank after acclimating them to full salt after a week. Will this be a problem with the aforementioned fish?

Thank you much

Not sure about Lion.

But for the puffers it is all about personality.
I've had a Toby that wouldn't bother snails. I've had one that nearly tore an Engineer Goby in half and terrorized any invertebrate it saw. They tend towards the more mellow side then their larger mouthed cousins. But they all have the full puffer potential for being homicidal maniacs.

Green Spotted Puffers are simply saltwater fish period. They tend to go into freshwater when young, but they appear to breed in saltwater (meaning they are there for the beginning and end of their life). GSP's are a little tricky. They tend towards the middle ground for puffers, but they also change personalities when they reach maturity. So effectively you have to get lucky twice to have a nice pleasant GSP. There are plenty of people who manage to keep them in reef tanks, but there are also plenty of people who have homicidal GSP's.

Appreciate it. This tank is not going to have any corals at all so that should make things a lot easier
