Too Much Flow?
I currently have an MP10 running at 100% on reef crest mode in my 40 breeder tank. I also have a Koralia Nano 240 behind my rock work to help minimize any deadspots. With the MP10 at one end of the tank, would a koralia 550 in each back corner of the tank be too much flow. I am just trying to minimize dead spots. The tank will have softies and LPS in it with no plans for SPS.

Yes. 300 to 400 gph woould be plenty.Theres no one cure for any problem but a balance of many. A good setup book is worth its wieght in gold.
Good water movement help reduce algea , bring O2 in and remove unwanted gases at the surface ( this is why u dont want a lid ) and push the water through your best bio filter LR and LS and reduce unwanted waste and uneatin food to collect. Understand your tank for better results. |

I don't think you need all of that if you're not keeping SPS. How much is coming in from your return?

I think for softies/lps you'll be good.
