Refugium Fauna Starter Kit

Is it a complete waste of money to seed a tank that was cycled with all dry Pukani rock with one of these refugia fauna starter kits from inland aquatics?

I had planned to seed the tank with copepods that I am culturing, but didn't know if not having brittle stars, amphipods, etc would cause any issues?

I hate to drop all that cash I something that is totally in neccessar so would appreciate all the experts opinions here

Well, it is a good package for a refugium. Does one NEED it? Hard to say.

Check out ipfs.com. I used all base rock too but added the IPFS Mix 'n Match kit. Not quite as pricey and you can choose what you want. Just a thought.
