Tank temp and Hair algea...
So I have quite the hair algea problem... along with my weekly toothbrush scrubbings I cut back on feeding and started GFO a few weeks ago with no real improvements yet.
I was giving the the idea by LFS that i need to drop my temp down to 75/76 to stop the HA from growing. Has anyone tried this or even heard of it? I was told it wouldnt be a problem for any of my fish or corals (all softies). Just wanted to see if anyone had any info on this? Cory |

Prob won't help a lot. Nutrient control is your main problem.

I'm not 100% sure, but i think some of my rock may be leaching phosphates. I've read a few threads about the BRS puckani leaching phosphates.
