reef-safe wrasse?
Are these fish reef-safe and can I have both fish in a 185 gallon system with little/no problem (along with B&W pair clownfish, flame angel, purple tang, and yellow tang):
1) Vrolik's Wrasse, Male (Halichoeres chrysotaenia) OR Melanurus Fairy Wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus) 2) African McCoskeri Flasher Wrasse, Male THANK YOU! |

Dont forget most wrasse are JUMPERS

I don't have any experience with the others but I have had a pair of melanurus for a year now - they live peaceably with a pair of oscellaris clowns, yellow, blue and naso tang, flameback angel, and a flame hawk. They are in a mixed reef and have never picked on a coral or clam but I have seen the female - and her only - pick on a snail occasionally....and they will both eat any worm of any sort that dares to venture out of the rocks or sandbed when they are awake!
