Reef Monitoring

New to hobby, have 44g corner pentagon tank 4 months in and really healthy (I think), but currently setting up 65g and 14g and curious if any one has any recommendations on electronic monitoring equipment. Have done some searching and see that they are there but with separate add ons. I feel like spending a little more money on a good monitor system might be a little easier than testing three systems so often. I do test a lot because I am new to the hobby and prefer to be proactive instead of reactive, but also thought there might be a system I could rotate between tanks to do measurements. Perhaps not for all parameters, but the basic PH, SG, Ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, or maybe even calcium.

Any thoughts appreciated and apologize if this isn’t the right board.

The probes for that would likely cost thousands of dollars and they are wear items.

Buying an assortment of these http://www.hannainst.com/usa/prods2.cfm?id=030011 is the closest thing you're going to get.

Ph and sg are easy. The others are not. You will need to do manual testing for the others.

Welcome to Reef Central!!

This is a screenshot of my controller. It monitors a lot of stuff. The custom fields at the bottom in order are my Carbon Media Reactor, GFO Reactor, Bio Pellet Reactor, and my Anemone tanks return in GPH. The nem tanks return is split off from the main tanks return. This allows me to monitor that my pumps are on, working properly, and that my media reactors are flowing properly.

It also logs these parameters onto a chart and can all be accessed from anywhere there is internet including smart phones..

I did find a nitrate probe.

It's only 600 Euros!
