Made some changes.
Well after Sk8r net on about what not to do when keeping corals I just revamped my setup. Over the last week I removed all the foam from my tank. I still have one small one on my power head buy the FX5 is foam free and loaded with some rubble, carbon and GFO. I load up on carbon and GFO seeing how I'm still withought a RODI and they will help with anything that might be in the water I'm buying.
I added a little more light in the form of a SnapOn tools 48" under hood LED work light. It sounds silly but it's paid for and is a really white light. I wish I knew the spectrum because it looks really good with my T5s, 6500k and 420 actinic. I have some cheep LEDs I have been running over my fuge that are 6000k that I might add to my hood and replace the 6500k with a 14000k. Think they would make a good blend of color?
