LED driver question

What do some of the big companies(AI, Radion) use for drivers. I know they both can do thunderstorm modes, but the meanwell DIY drivers take a second to turn on and off. Also, the drivers control strips of 8-12, versus 2 or 3 on the new AI fixture(http://************.com/2012/05/04/f...ai-vega-color/) and the radion.

Any clue as to how they do it? If there is a DIY I have overlooked into these "micro" drivers?

Thanks

I believe that build circuit boards that replace the drivers; basically creating their own custom driver.

With the proper knowledge of electronics, I would suppose that it could.
