In sump skimmer for a 40 breeder?

Trying to get some opinions...

Moving from a 15g tank to a 40 breeder... I'm going to use the 15 for a sump and a CPR cs90 overflow. I have a Mag 9.5, which I'll probably need to reduce the flow, but need a skimmer that will fit in a 15 gallon tank.
I want the sump to house the skimmer, a fuge and the return pump.

I like the SWC 120/160 as they both have a nice small footprint, but am not sure which one.

What else is good with a smaller footprint?

I personally would go with a 20 long. It will give you much more space to work with for setting up a fuge and skimmer.

If you have the room, go bigger. A 20g tank is cheap at PetCo or Craigslist. The size of the refugium you will have in the 10g tank really won't be worth much. But then a small fuge is better than none at all, IMHO.

I have a 40 breeder set up and I have a 20 long sump with refuge in the middle. I wish I would have gotten a 30 breeder for the extra height but the 20long works very well.

Plus 2. Look into SCA skimmers. The SC 65 or the SCA 302 are great skimmers.

Looks nice. I was offered a swc 160 in trade for a laptop... I guess we'll see how she works.
