Can a Reeflex Cube Ballast run a Mogul Bulb Reflector?

Can a Reeflex Cube Ballast run a Mogul Bulb Reflector?
I just got a Reeflex Cube and a SLS Lumen Max Elite and I saw that the Reeflex Cube's box says "for double ended bulbs".

Thanks!

Yes it can, but it will just overdrive the bulb because its meant for HQI lamps.

Certain single ended bulbs run best on a HQI ballast, radium and aquaconnect are two.

It will work great with a Radium and it will still light other probe start MH bulbs, but it will whiten their spectrum somewhat. I used an XM 20K bulb - a nice bulb - with an M80 HQI ballast and it whitened it quite a bit compared to using it with an M58 ballast.

are the Lumatek ballasts good as well? The plug for the Reeflex Cube doesn't fit the plug for the SLS fixture so I might exchange it for a Lumatek ballast tomorrow. I went to every electronic store in my area and couldn't find the right adapter.

You don't want an adapter, you need the plug end that fits the ballast, cut off the end of the reflector and wire in the correct end for the ballast. You are making this harder than it is.

You can find the end that fits the ballast at a computer store, though mine came with it.
